About Danielle Whitley & Consulting

Growing up as a missionary kid, Danielle’s life in children’s ministry began in her teenage years as she led the children’s ministry at her father’s church.

Early on, the Lord began to develop a passion for reaching and ministering to kids as she began writing her own curriculum and outreach strategies.

After high school she attended Liberty University where she double majored in Family & Child Development and Biblical Studies. While in school she continued in her passion for children’s ministry as she started a Bible study with inner city children and volunteered in other children’s ministries such as AWANA, children’s church, and VBS. After college she attended Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary where she received her Master’s degree in Children’s Ministry.

Upon graduating from seminary she got a job at McLean Bible Church as she was brought on staff to help launch the children’s program at a new campus in Montgomery County. During this time she learned how to do children’s ministry in a variety of different venues and environments as the church met in theaters, music centers, community rooms, and hotels. She also learned how to customize curriculum and programming to fit various needs based on number of kids, age groups present and other such varying factors that are common in new churches or plants.

After serving for six years as the Children's Director at MBC Montgomery County, God began using her experiences to help new churches as she started partnering with New City Network (the church planting ministry of McLean Bible Church) to help train, consult and advise new churches on how to lay a solid foundation for their children's ministry.
